Hulu viewers will now have the chance to enjoy marathons of "Family Guy" or "The Simpsons" without ever leaving the Hulu video player, thanks to a new search feature.

Hulu has added a search bar that appears in the upper right-hand corner of its embedded video player. Search results appear directly in the player, and the selected video will play in the same space after pre-roll advertisements.

The search results offer video from the 50-plus content providers on Hulu, as well as video from other premium sites, according to the Hulu blog. YouTube, the online video frontrunner, does not offer a similar feature within its embedded videos.

In the few months since it launched, Hulu has already exceeded expectations, and rumors swirled earlier this week that a deal with Disney is in the works.
