So how do you make Microsoft cool? That's the problem facing Crispin Porter + Bogusky, the Miami-based ad agency that recently won the software giant's business.
Alex Bogusky, the man believed to be responsible for landing the Microsoft account, has so far been tight-lipped about his plans to revamp the brand. But now a few details have emerged.
According to a Wall Street Journal (subscription) report, the agency has tapped famous comic Jerry Seinfeld as its pitch man for what is expected to be a $300 million campaign. While little else is known about the campaign, the tagline is thought to be "Windows, not walls," according to an AdWeek story.
Comics Chris Rock and Will Ferrell are also expected to join the campaign.
Seinfeld, who famously created his show about nothing for NBC, is no stranger to advertising, having done spots for American Express in the past.
