Yahoo pulls off mobile coup

Things may not be going all that well at Yahoo overall, but the company has managed to pull off something of a coup in the mobile marketing arena by striking a search deal with AT&T.

The deal, which is an extension of a partnership announced in January, could give Yahoo access to as many as 70 million U.S. customers for its oneSearch mobile web service, which bundles information that includes news, weather and photos.

Meanwhile, Google, which may soon have its first Gphone on the market with T-Mobile, is reportedly in talks to provide search to Verizon.
