WorldNow, Nextpert Launch Trend Channel

WorldNow and Nextpert have introduced a content channel to more than 120 local TV Web sites that will promote trends.

WHAT'S NEXT will look at trends from a range of experts, visionaries, trade and consumer magazine editors and trendsetters called Nextpert Nation. Nextpert, a trend spotting resource, will provide the content.

"By clicking into the channel, users are demonstrating an interest in the latest trends. It would be safe to call visitors to WHAT'S NEXT 'early adopters' who marketers cherish for their word of mouth product endorsements," says Gary Gannaway, CEO of WorldNow.

More people are go to local TV station's Web sites for up-to-the-minute information, says David Post, cofounder and executive producer of Nextpert. "Our mission is to give them a first look at what's next and promising innovations that can make their lives easier and probably some topics for the water cooler for that day."
