Unicast has released its second version of the Video Commercial with companion interactivity that extends the capabilities of the original Video Commercial.
The format allows side-by-side interactive elements during and following the video presentation and is the only format that allows broadcast quality video to be played simultaneously with multiple points of interaction. Honda and Saab are the first advertisers to launch campaigns.
"The Video Commercial with companion interactivity allows Honda to build on its early success with the format by giving consumers even more opportunities to interact with their brand," says Edmund Purcell, management supervisor of RPA. "Both Video Commercial formats effectively deliver Honda's offline creative to key audiences, but this new version makes the consumer amore active participant in the advertising experience."
The interactive elements of the format allow advertisers to customize and collect feedback from consumers, which cannot be collected via video delivery.
