United Virtualities has been nominated for a creative award at the 51stCannes Lions International Advertising Festival for a spot that features new streaming video technology.
The Nextel ad uses ShoshTV HD, a high-resolution format that provides Internet users with a TV-quality video experience.
"United Virtualities is the only rich media company that supports each part of the advertising process, from creative, to trafficking and implementation," says company founder Mookie Tenembaum.
"Our work is specifically and exclusively oriented for one medium, the Web," says Gaston Silberman, creative director at UV, who developed the project with McCann-Erickson, Argentina. "Our creativity is based on broadening the scope while taking the fullest advantage of the very idea of interactivity, which happens to also be the Internet's prime feature."
