Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd. announced it plans to launch the first mobile phone with a mini hard disc drive later this month.

The new phone will be equipped with a 1.5 gigabyte hard disc drive that expands the memory capacity of mobile phones by 15 times. The phone will also feature an MP3 player, electronic book and a dictionary.
