FoodNetwork.com announced an online interactive and mobile marketing campaign to promote last night's Food Network television broadcast of "Food Network Caters Your Wedding."
The promotion enabled FoodNetwork.com users to send notes either online or via text message for an opportunity to see them on the air.
"There were two interactive elements which consumers enjoyed. The most visible was the consumer's ability to send a note which may be running on the crawl of the screen for the entire two hour broadcast. The second interactive element was a trivia game which allowed viewers to become really engaged in the show by viewing and playing along simultaneously," says Beth Higbee, vice president, Interactive, Food Network.
GoldPocket, an interactive media technology company, provided the interactive technology for the promotion.
