WebTrends Launches Enhancements

WebTrends, Inc, a web analytics provider, announced the launch of WebTrends 7.5. New features include quick campaign queries and the saving/sharing of analytics.

The company says WebTrends 7.5's new features cover three areas: actionability, accuracy and expertise.

"From the advertiser's perspective, the enhancements of WebTrends 7.5 are making it easy for them to zero in on campaigns that are working and what campaigns aren't working. WebTrends 7.5 will help advertisers take immediate action to improve return on investment," says Jeff Seacrist, director of product marketing, WebTrends.

The company says that WebTrends 7.5 helps deal with the cookie deletion controversy.

"WebTrends 7.5 allows us to bypass the third party cookies and leverage the first party cookies that the customers are already setting. We've done research that indicated third-party cookie rejection rates have increased," adds Seacrist.

WebTrends 7.5 is a free upgrade to all on demand hosted customers and is also a free upgrade to customers using version 7.1 who are also current on their maintenance. It is also available for purchase for new customers.
