Mobile Media Company, a mobile technology company, and its partner My Thum, a mobile solutions company, announced the launch of a partnered music video mobile channel, PunchMuch. The deal also involves Canada's CHUM Television network, the network behind the branded PunchMuch mobile channel.
PunchMuch is a fully automated, all-request music video service. The channel lets music fans everywhere request videos, and participate in SMS chat and polling via their wireless phones or PDAs.
The channel will be powered by Mobile Media's technology platform.

This is a great new place to make that happen," says David Kines, VP, music and youth specialty channels, CHUM Television.
The service is mobile carrier agnostic. The companies did not comment on plans to serve ads within this mobile channel but see this deal as more a branding partnership.
