RateItAll, Inc., an online ratings community and social network, announced the launch of their blog directory.
The free blog directory is ad supported and aims to be an online destination for finding, promoting and giving feedback on blogs. RateItAll.com has launched with approximately 100 blogs but expects the number of blogs to grow as submissions are approved by the staff.
Benefits to marketers include the ability to target a particular audience by sponsoring a certain section.
"If I am a marketer and want to target a technology-conscious audience, I have the option of sponsoring the whole technology section of RateItAll," says RateItAll President Lawrence Coburn.
RateItAll's self service submission tool allows bloggers to identify the appropriate category for their blog and create their own listing, including a prominent, direct link to their blog.
"Bloggers are looking for exposure and reaction to their work. Readers are looking for quality, compelling content. RateItAll's vast user base and interactive ratings engine should be able to deliver on the needs of both," adds Coburn.
