Recognizing industry changes just ahead and anticipating dramatic upheaval in the worlds of search and interactive marketing, a notable group of online advertising industry veterans today formed a new company to meet the needs of an ever-changing online world. Kinetic Results, LLC, led by iMedia Search Editor Kevin Ryan and Giovanni Gallucci, offers a broad array of interactive services encased in what they consider to be the world’s first full-service digital agency.
The entire Kinetic Results management team comes immediately from the helm of Zunch Communications, having tendered their resignations to that company last Friday.
According to the principals, their strategy is to start with their search knowledge base, and their robust technologies, and apply them to other areas to develop holistic solutions.
Ryan, former Chief Strategy Officer at Zunch, is a popular speaker and columnist at industry events such as the iMedia Summits, ad:tech and Search Engine Strategies, who has been accurately predicting lasting trends and fading fads in the interactive space for a number of years. He sees big changes ahead that will send the interactive marketing industry scrambling to catch up.
“At Kinetic Results, we aren’t so entrenched in one service or aspect of our business that we end up with tunnel-vision,” says Ryan, whose weekly SearchTHIS column in iMedia Connection is a regular must-read for those wanting to stay ahead of the interactive advertising curve. “You’ve got to keep a good peripheral scan for the other services necessary to create a successful online presence. Gallucci, former Zunch president and COO, is a Microsoft Certified Partner and gifted technical visionary, has in the past overseen the creation of the world’s first searchable shopping cart, which revolutionized ecommerce opportunities for retailers. He anticipates the arrival of such techniques as branded blogs and podcasts, with overt or veiled product placement opportunities available in scalable formats and at varying costs, depending on a particular site’s popularity among users.
Also onboard at Kinetic Results is former Zunch Chief Interactive Marketing Officer Tony Wright, a search engine marketing authority and public relations veteran; former Zunch Director of Business Development and analyst Anthony Zapata; Zunch co-founder and former Executive VP Dave Wilkie, a writer and advertising veteran with specialties in content and branding, and Masha Geller, noted industry watcher and analyst (Geller is also an iMedia Connection editor and weekly columnist).
