inQ Launches Live Chat Marketing Tool

inQ, a California-based live chat solutions provider, recently launched a new live chat marketing tool cartQ. The new program allows ecommerce websites to provide live cashier services, assisting customers through the checkout process. inQ also provides its clients with chat center services with trained live agents.

Many online shoppers have experience of being frustrated by the complicated checkout process. They may close check-out pages before completing their purchases. According to DoubleClick research, 60 percent of online shopping carts are abandoned resulting in less than half of potential transactions on ecommerce sites ever being finalized.

CartQ was designed to address this problem by launching a real-time dialog between customers and sales representatives. The representatives can guide shoppers through the checkout process and answer questions regarding products, shipping and credit card security. They may also proactively offer special discounts or other incentives to customers.

"With the holiday shopping season around the corner businesses are seeking effective strategies to ensure their customers follow-through on their online purchases and maximize the potential transaction value of every shopping cart on their site," says Bernard Louvat, CEO of inQ. "By offering our clients cartQ as a part of our complete live chat solution and marketing agency services, they are better equipped to face this growing online sales problem head-on and effectively increase their total ROI."

Online Windows software developer and reseller SoftwareOnline.com has already utilized inQ's cartQ system in its live chat marketing campaign.
