Study: Online Car Shopping Research
Feedback Research announced a study that found 58 percent surveyed use the internet to gather information while shopping for a car.
The study was conduced from July 1 to October 1, 2005 and found that Autobytel.com topped the list with 22 percent of surveyed visiting the site. Other sites include Autoweb.com (20 percent), Carsdirect.com (20 percent), Automotive.com (14 percent) and Kelley Blue Book (14 percent).
Fifty-eight percent surveyed said that pricing information was the main focus of their online car shopping search.
