CallingID, a security provider for online shopping and banking, announced an enhanced version of its anti-phishing and safe browsing toolbar solution.

The new version provides an enhanced website verification system that automatically identifies and verifies the ownership of every site. Consumers can verify a website before sending information to them. The company says it helps clarify the legitimacy of online marketers and businesses to consumers.

Yoram Nissenboim, CallingID CEO says the enhancements "meets consumers' anti-phishing needs, integrating a multitude of sophisticated technologies and providing capabilities they never had before. The product allows users to harness the full power of the web without allowing scammers to tap into their bank accounts."
