Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide Inc. has launched a corporate blog called TheLobby that is aimed at preferred guests, the Wall Street Journal reported.

TheLobby.com, which is the first blog launched by a major hotel company, features ads to events to several of the company's brand hotels that include Westin, Sheraton, St. Regis and W.

TheLobby.com lacks a place where readers can offer their own comments. Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide says it plans to make the blog more interactive but was not specific about plans.
