Sprint Nextel Corp. is in talks to partner with Sling Media Inc., a mobile TV technology developer, reports Reuters.

The potential partnership is seen as way for Sprint, which is currently the No. 3 U.S. wireless service, to make its mobile entertainment services more appealing.

Sprint is also said to be talking with Sony Corp and Orb Networks about developing technology for users to watch cable TV on mobile devices.

Last year Sprint launched a mobile music store and also offers subscriptions to satellite radio channels which it streams to cell phones.
