News Corp.'s FOX TV announced that it has sold over 160,000 audio and video download clips of its "American Idol" show in one week, Broadcasting & Cable reported.

Video downloads were priced at $1.99 and audio downloads at 99 cents. The downloads were only available on the "American Idol" website.

The clips are no longer available for download and were offered until May 24.
