Study: Growth in Mobile Search
JumpTap, Inc., a provider of mobile technology, released a study that found mobile service carriers saw an eight percent increase of revenue on mobile search in April 2006.
Clickthrough rates on mobile searches increased 36 percent with average revenue per search increasing to $2.73.
The study found the top queries by category were artists (58 percent), adult content (12 percent) and games (8 percent).
