Dr Mathew McDougall is recognised worldwide as a leading expert on online advertising and online marketing analytics. He founded the SinoTech Group in Beijing after identifying a need in the Chinese market for an integrated digital advertising solution. Having already developed relationships with many of China´s largest websites and online publishers, he was intent on promoting an end-to-end online advertising platform to internet publishers and advertisers so they can exploit new performance marketing techniques and develop effective brand management solutions. Dr McDougall is a frequent spokesperson on internet search marketing, online advertising and guest speaker at internet industry forums.

Hi Kate,Nice to read your story on Search Marketing. Working in China has given me plenty of opportunity to see 'poor quality' SEM management by our competitors here.. mostly small SME's that think starting a search company is just about ringing Baidu and placing a keyword buying order...But those companies aside, the major's (such as SinoTech Group, adSage, Ogilvy) The companies here in China that manage thousands of keywords, using multiple ad groups, multiple landing pages, ad copies, doing AMore...

I enjoyed reading these perspectives from others working in the Digital Marketing space in China. There is a lot of things I agree with but also some things that are different (as you would hope). From the viewpoint of SinoTech Group, we also see a growing interest over the past year in Search Marketing. In 2009 I expect to see this broad adoption of search within campaigns but it is still inhibited given the lack of search knowledge/awareness within the agency system.With regards the video sectMore...
