Matt has enjoyed writing since his youth, but didn´t take it seriously until he caught the journalism bug in his early 20s. He holds a double major in history and journalism from Humboldt State University. He´s worked as a reporter in small towns and big cities along the California coast for the past eight years. He´s as much a fan of music as he is an avid traveler – always catching shows and hitting the road (or skies) with his wife of four years. Matt likes cellphones a bit too much, but likes being at home with his wife and two cats in Long Beach much more.
