An entrepreneur and business builder, Curt Viebranz currently serves on the Board of Directors of GeniusRocket, Hooked Media, Ole Communications and Peer 39.
He is a member of the Board of Advisors of CityVoter, Inflection Point Media and Simulmedia.
Until March of 2008, Curt Viebranz was President of AOL's Platform A. Viebranz joined AOL via its acquisiton of TACODA in September 2007. Curt Viebranz was named Chief Executive Officer of TACODA. in July 2006. Viebranz joined TACODA as President & Chief Operating Officer in April 2004. .Mr. Viebranz spent seventeen years at Time Warner and its predecessor company, Time Inc. During that time, Mr. Viebranz held numerous senior management positions with operating responsibility for major businesses both in the United States and abroad. He served as president of HBO International, the international arm of Time Warner´s Home Box Office unit. Prior to that, he was the first president of Time Inc. Multimedia, the new media division of Time Inc., Time Warner´s book and magazine publishing subsidiary. He also served as president of Time Inc. Europe and President of HBO Video, the home video distribution unit of Home Box Office.
Mr. Viebranz holds an MBA from Harvard University and a BA from Middlebury College. He is a Board member of the Kohlberg Foundation, the Meserve Kunhardt Foundation and the Faraja Foundation. He is also a member of the Council on Foreign Relations. He is married and has three children.
