Dan Reich is currently Co-Founder of Spinback, a company that is focused on helping online retailers quickly launch social features while measuring its effectiveness and ROI.
Prior to Spinback, Dan was Director of New Business Development of Lotame Solutions, a firm that specializes in the creation of custom audience marketing solutions for brands as well as the monetization of social data for web publishers. In this role, Dan has been primarily responsible for driving strategy and new partnerships around data acquisition and data distribution and has secured partnerships with companies like Google and Conde Nast.
Prior to Lotame, Dan studied Electrical Engineering at the University of Wisconsin - Madison, where he conducted research in the Wisconsin Center for Applied Microelectronic Devices developing technological approaches that could advance future applications in medical imaging, homeland security and defense imaging, as well as communications. In addition to his research, Dan also helped launch Accenture´s first ever Leadership Center which was a joint venture between the University´s School of Business and the College of Engineering. For this effort, Dan was awarded the inaugural Accenture Leadership Foundation Award.
While pursuing his engineering studies, Dan also co-founded Runaway Productions LLC, a college marketing firm that specializes in grassroots style marketing. Some past clients include RedBull, Sony BMG´s Collie Buddz, and Skull Candy. In addition to Runaway Productions, Dan also co-founded a student oriented services website called thecampusatlas.com.
Since 2001 and in his free time, Dan has been a certified Outdoor Emergency Care Technician and member of National Ski Patrol where he volunteers on Mount Snow Rescue and Patrol in Vermont (mountsnowskipatrol.com).
Dan holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin - Madison and has served on the executive board of the Alpha chapter of Eta Kappa Nu, the Electrical and Computer Engineering Honors Society.
