Jack R. Nerad is executive editorial director and market analyst for Kelley Blue Book’s kbb.com.  His chief responsibilities include direction of all editorial content on kbb.com, including overseeing new-vehicle reviews and working closely with the company’s vehicle data analysts on Kelley Blue Book’s new, used and residual values.  Nerad also is the official voice of ‘the trusted resource’ as Kelley Blue Book’s primary media spokesperson.  Since joining Kelley Blue Book in March 2005, Nerad has been playing a pivotal role in enhancing content on kbb.com and helping in-market car buyers with unbiased vehicle shopping advice.  Nerad is a frequent on-camera expert on the History Channel program “AutoManiac.”  Additionally, for more than a decade Nerad has co-hosted the most-listened-to auto-related radio program in the country, “America on the Road,” which is carried by more than 300 radio stations nationwide.  Nerad still hosts the radio show in addition to his duties at Kelley Blue Book, and he also continues his role as motoring correspondent on ESPN’s “Cold Pizza” program. Kelley Blue Book has been the most trusted vehicle pricing, values and information resource by both consumers and the auto industry since 1926.  Kelley Blue Book’s Web site, kbb.com, was established in 1995 and has been named the No. 1 and most-visited automotive information site by J.D. Power and Associates and Nielsen//NetRatings for seven years running.  Car buyers rated kbb.com No. 1 in overall customer satisfaction and experience, according to a recent survey by Keynote Systems.  No other medium reaches more in-market car buyers than kbb.com; one in every three American car buyers complete their research on kbb.com.

Nerad has spent decades in the automotive industry as a journalist, author and communicator.  Past positions held by Nerad include editor at Motor Trend magazine, editor at Automotive Age and director of publications at J.D. Power and Associates.  In addition to writing countless articles, features and road tests, he has authored several books over the years, including The Complete Idiot’s Guide to Buying or Leasing a Car and Chevrolet Corvette.
