As Red Door Interactive's President & CEO, Reid is there for clients and employees alike. Having began his career in advertising, Reid appreciates the integrity of the brand, but focuses on the fact that what we do for clients has to make them money. Reid founded Red Door Interactive in 2002 and has since also become a leader in the community.
Reid first came to San Diego to form the iGroup, the interactive arm for the San Diego-based PR agency, McQuerterGroup. Reid joined McQ from his previous position as Chief Operating Officer at PBJ Digital, a dotcom incubator based in Los Angeles. Reid began his career at TBWA/Chiat/Day where he handled account management responsibilities for Nissan.
Reid writes a regular column for iMedia Connection and is an expert blogger for San Diego News Network and Fast Company. In 2005 he was honored with the San Diego Metropolitan´s "40 Under 40" award; in 2007 and 2009 was awarded the Most Admired CEO in San Diego award by the San Diego Business Journal and was a finalist in 2009 for Ernst & Young's Entrepreneur of the Year. He is also on the Board of Directors for the United Way of San Diego County, Voice of San Diego and a member of Rotary (San Diego Downtown Club 33).
