Most recently recognized in February, 2015 issue of Global License!, David Goodrich is heading up global electronic commerce at Fox Studios, and responsible for innovative new business models and a transformative digitally lead culture. 

 

As a pioneer for Twentieth Century Fox Ecommerce licensing, David has pushed a three year business plan forward and is having significant success and revenue growth half way in.  Goodrich’s focus has been on launching the online “official” show and film shopping destinations, off-channel fan merchandise, fashion collaborations with top retail websites, and fan prop auctions.

  

In 2013, Ad Age’s Creativity Online recognized David Goodrich as a top 50 creative amongst the most influential, creative thinkers and doers in the world right along-side Jay-Z and Daft Punk. 

 

Prior, Mr. Goodrich was President of Digital at Ignition Creative. Under his tutelage Ignition Interactive received a Golden Lion from Canes and Emmy for the work on X-men Days of Future Past and Arrested Development season 4.  David was also a key architect of Ignition's corporate strategy and vision, which was optimized around a core organizational axis of data, user experience and storytelling. 

 

Prior to Ignition, David lead digital units for the largest advertising agencies in the world, working on over 250 different brand assignments, ranging from Fortune 100 companies to small businesses.  As EVP, Managing Director at Initiative, David oversaw all aspects of the business, working with clients like Lionsgate and Dr. Pepper Snapple Group. From 2008 - 2010, David was SVP, Digital Communications at Universal McCann, where he oversaw all digital across Sony brands, and created award-winning work for District 9, 2012, The Social Network, Paul Blart Mall Cop and Ron Howard’s Angels and Demons. Before joining UM, David served as SVP, Managing Director, at Moxie Interactive where he led the agency's west coast office, working on key clients such as 20th Century Fox, Hewlett Packard, and Nestle. Additionally, David has worked at CBS Interactive, Bluefly.com, USA Networks, OMD and Grey Advertising – overseeing Procter and Gamble, Johnson & Johnson, and Apple computers. 

 

David currently lives in Redondo Beach, California, and has two sons, Myles and Dylan.
