Dr. Magid Abraham is a successful entrepreneur, a world renowned expert in marketing research, and a technology pioneer.  Coming from very humble beginnings, Dr. Abraham has built a distinguished career by developing and applying innovative technology-driven solutions to advance marketing science and the state of the art in global Internet measurement. In short, Dr. Abraham embodies the classic “American Dream.” Growing up on a farm in southern Lebanon, his early years were spent picking apples, loading them onto donkeys’ backs, and selling them at the local market. Developing an early hunger for education, he made his way to France as a teenager, where he attended the Ecole Polytechnique, France's premier science and engineering school. Ultimately, he emigrated to the US and completed his graduate studies a MIT. Since then, he has established himself as a true visionary whose innovations have changed the way the world’s premier marketers used market information to run their business.
Dr. Abraham is a co-founder and Chief Executive officer of comScore Networks, a global leader in measuring the Internet and the broader digital media universe. comScore's products and services are utilized by many of the world's leading corporations to better understand, leverage and profit from the rapidly evolving Worldwide Web,  including Internet leaders such as Google, Yahoo! and Microsoft as well as leading financial institutions, e-commerce companies, telecommunication providers and advertising agencies. comScore’s data is arguably the world’s  most comprehensive source of information regarding Internet usage across the globe. In addition to his business leadership as president and CEO, Dr. Abraham continues to lead technology and methodological innovations that enable measurement of consumer Internet behavior, e-commerce transactions and the gamut of digital media activity. He is a named inventor for many patents/continuations in part that are pending before the U.S. Patent Trade Office and international patent organizations that relate to comScore’s technology. He is also a foremost expert on industry and consumer trends in the digital media universe.

Prior to co-founding comScore, Dr. Abraham was a successful founder and CEO of Paragren Technologies, Inc., which specialized in delivering large scale Customer Relationship Marketing (CRM) systems for strategic and target marketing.  Paragren’s customer base included large consumer marketing companies in the telecommunications, financial services, travel and retail industries. Paragren is now part of Siebel Systems. Before founding Paragren, Dr. Abraham was president and COO of Information Resources, Inc., a major international research company, which he led through a period of rapid growth in revenues, market share and profit. While at IRI, Dr. Abraham helped grow the firm’s revenues to $400 million per year.  Throughout his IRI career, Dr. Abraham was a prolific innovator who designed a number of pioneering marketing applications that became standards in the practice of marketing within consumer product companies. He developed the world’s first expert system to automatically analyze the impact of consumer promotions on sales demand. He also pioneered the first expert system to automatically generate fact based sales presentation to be used by data novice sales representatives. Dr. Abraham is a widely recognized expert on consumer modeling and decision support systems. He has authored several articles in the Journal of Marketing Research (JMR), Marketing Science and the Harvard Business Review. He received the Paul Green award (1996) from the American Marketing Association (AMA) for the "best article that shows or demonstrates the most potential to contribute to the practice of marketing research and research in marketing”, the AMA’s William F. O’Dell Award in 2000 for the most outstanding article appearing in JMR 5 years after publication, and the AMA Advertising SIG Best Paper Award after 5 Years, in 2001.  He speaks frequently on business topics in various industry conferences and forums and has been a speaker at dozens of market research industry events, presenting important research and or addressing important challenges to the industry.

Dr. Abraham received a Ph.D. in Operations Research and an M.B.A. from MIT. He also holds an Engineering degree from the Ecole Polytechnique.
