Lara discovered her passion for working in marketing and public relations during a stint at her college radio station, where she was quickly named Promotion Manager, and was subsequently recruited to work in commercial radio and then for Sony Music developing emerging artists. Since then, she has had over 15 years’ experience in marketing, communications, public and media relations, including digital media. Her expertise lies in the creation of marketing strategy and campaigns with an eye toward messaging and integration with other efforts. Organizations with whom she’s worked have included: Sprint, General Motors, Wrigleys, Schlage, Google, MSN Bing, AT&T Wireless, Rabobank, Kellogs and Qwest Communications. As a writer, she’s also published articles and white papers on a variety of topics, ranging from music to social media and technology.
