Experienced Sales Management Executive with a proven track record managing direct and indirect sales organizations both domestically and internationally. Broad rich media experience in starting & scaling digital startups with a focus on a wide range of online advertising based business models from video, mobile, to CPM & CPA. Experience: • General Sales Management • Recruiting, hiring, training, and motivating sales teams • International • Consultative sales processes • Business Development negotiating strategic partnerships • Account Management and account retention • Rebuilding and turnaround situations In Dayton’s role as Vice President, Sales at Fliqz, he is responsible for managing Account Executives across all sales channels (direct, ad agency, developer, indirect/partner, etc.) and establishing partnerships with key publishers and technology partners. His role includes business development with a focus on exploring alternative revenue opportunities that drive incremental revenue for the company and its key publishers. Prior to Fliqz, he was the SVP of Advertising Sales at Aptimus (acquired by Apollo Group), an online advertising network. Dayton’s sales team worked with publishers, ad networks, and some of the internet’s largest advertisers running various advertising sponsorship and CPL campaigns. The sales team had a focus and specialization on the following categories: EDU, finance, travel, pharma, and CPG. Previously, he was the VP Sales and Marketing at The Loan Page (acquired by HouseValues) in San Francisco. He developed partnerships exclusively with some of the nation’s largest financial institutions developing various direct response campaigns to assist these institutions with new customer acquisition. Prior to The Loan Page, Dayton held various sales management positions at Verio and Frontier Communications. Dayton holds a bachelors degree from University of California, Santa Barbara.
