Jay Friedman is the COO of Goodway Group which owns and operates the Beep! automotive ad network and the IvyPixel ad network.
An automotive marketing veteran, Friedman created and launched Goodway 2.0 in June, 2006, to provide digital and experientially-driven promotional and CRM services primarily to regional automotive associations across the U.S. Since its inception, Goodway 2.0 has created and deployed cutting edge promotional and CRM marketing programs for clients in the automotive, retail, restaurant and health care categories, becoming a multi-million dollar company in its first year. Goodway 2.0 leverages tactics such as search, online display and video, social networking, mobile web, SMS, online street teams, in-video game advertising and street teams to drive measurable results and actionable learnings for its clients.
Prior to launching Goodway 2.0, Friedman was with Young & Rubicam, a top ten global marketing firm. At Y&R Friedman managed the day-to-day operations of the Dallas, TX, field office, during which time the Dallas office achieved and maintained the highest client-driven ratings of any field office within the system. Additionally while at Y&R, Friedman was responsible for the successful national effort to consolidate regional direct-to-consumer marketing programs to reduce time to market and cost per program while retaining full creative flexibility to meet individual marketing objectives.
Previously, Friedman served as Marketing Director at The Park Place Dealership Group, a privately owned group of eight of the largest luxury automobile dealerships in the nation.
Friedman is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin with degrees in Journalism and Spanish. He lives with his wife and two children in Plano, TX.
