Stephanie's Bio

Stephanie Fierman is currently a senior marketing advisor for a number of select clients including Epsilon (www.epsilon.com), Sorpresa! (www.sorpresatv.com) and DIGOBrands (www.digobrands.com).

Stephanie Fierman is an accomplished sales and marketing executive who has built or turned around many successful businesses and brands. Considered an expert in multi-channel marketing, segmentation and database/loyalty marketing, Stephanie started her career in financial services with CITIBANK Credit Cards and JPMORGANCHASE. At Chase, she helped build the first national direct bank in the U.S. financial services industry, and went on to lead global marketing and strategy for the retail bank's wealth management division. From Chase, Stephanie joined a start-up and was the key force behind making Winstar Communications's OFFICE.COM the most popular website among small-and medium-sized businesses in the U.S (per Cahners In-Stat). Office.com's launch campaign of television, radio, print, online advertising and promotion won awards and set the stage for successful advertising, subscription and partnership sales. Stephanie brought a similar level of passion to ZAGAT SURVEY where, as Chief Sales and Marketing Officer, she delivered record revenues by taking Zagat to the next level in terms of branding and salesmanship. In addition to day-to-day P&L responsibility for Zagat's businesses worldwide – retail and direct sales, custom publishing and online and wireless subscriptions – Stephanie also worked with the organization to develop content partnerships and extend the Zagat brand into magazines and television. Her team was responsible for the successful and profitable relaunch of zagat.com, as well as the creation of Zagat's handheld and mobile phone services. Most recently, Stephanie joined TIME WARNER with a mandate to create a truly modern and flexible sales and marketing organization for Warner Bros. Entertainment's DC Comics division. Since January 2005, DC has enjoyed and capitalized on great successes including the theatrical release of Batman Begins, Superman Returns, A History of Violence and V For Vendetta, and continues to work closely with all of its retail customers to merchandise and introduce comics, manga and graphic novels to new audiences around the world. Stephanie has been profiled extensively in the press, including a cover story for Technology Marketing magazine. She is a Harvard Business School Baker Scholar and a magna cum laude graduate of the University of Pennsylvania's prestigious Annenberg School. She currently lives in a too-small apartment in New York City.
