Tom's Bio

An expert in digital media, Tom is currently the CEO of ThunderCat Technology.  He is the former Chief Operating Officer of both Simulmedia a start-up focused on Targeted TV ads using Set Top Box data and Dynamic Logic, a start-up he helped to bring from a 7-person operation with less than $1M in revenues into a 125 person, clear market leader acquired by WPP in 2005.  Tom has been involved in digital space since 1996. Previously, he was the NYC Branch Manager for NetGravity.   Tom is a retired U.S. Army Major and Operation Iraqi Freedom Vet.  Graduating from West Point in 1989, he is an Airborne Ranger, Bronze Star and Purple Heart recipient.

A winner of the iMedia Old Timers Award, he has been quoted and featured in The New York Times, NBC Nightly News, MediaPost, PARADE,  iMedia Communications , FOX News, The Madison Avenue Journal, MSNBC.com, and Jack Myers’ mediaVillage. 

In Fall 2006 a foundation was started by Tom and other digital media execs to assist Iraqi and Afghan Children. www.tdfoundation.org.  Additionally, Tom is a Certified Peer Mentor with Wounded Warrior Project, and USSOCOM Care Coalition.   (http://www.socom.mil/carecoalition).  Tom is a founding board of advisors member of Troops First Foundation http://www.troopsfirstfoundation.org/ 

Tom earned a Masters of Science in Systems Management from University of Southern California in 1993 and an MBA from NYU Stern School of Business in 2000. He lives with his wife and two children in Garden City, NY.
