Nice article. While you mentioned Twitpic... I would be remiss if I did not point out http://www.TweetPhoto.com for photo sharing as it has better controls for publishers as well as branded solutions, photo contests, event solutions, publishing to Facebook, etc. It also happens to be the default photo sharing option for Tweetdeck and Ubertwitter (the number 1 twitter clients for desktop & Blackberry respectively).Marketers need more effective use of photos by users to engage and extend the brandMore...

Craig. Thanks for the kind words. There customer support at twitter does need to improve but they do a pretty good job of using getsatisfaction. If you have a hijacked brand/trademark contact them and they will help you regain control of it's use.Scott,While there is some strong anecdotal evidence that twitter does in fact move the meter in the areas of brand perception and customer satisfaction; hard numbers will follow.
