Mike's Bio
Mike Murphy is the Chief Revenue Officer at Facebook where he leads media strategy, advertising inventory management and advertising operations. Mike joined Facebook from Yahoo! where he was VP of Media Sales, Western Region. Prior to Yahoo!, Mike founded the company TAG that provided outsourced sales, marketing and business development to established technology companies and early-stage start-ups. Mike began his media career at Ziff-Davis Publishing and CMP Media where he was Publisher, Associate Publisher and Managing Director. Mike received his BA from the University of North Texas and currently resides in Palo Alto, CA with his wife and four sons.
