Why not just stop investing in advertising, period. Instead, invest in video that features how your product benefits the intended buyer. Ads that are wrapped around the video or inserted into the middle of the video still have one thing in common -- they typically don't meet the intended objective. Alec, when you consider that it wasn't that long ago that the U.S. market represented less than 1 percent of the world's SMS traffic, we've clearly come a long way. Regardless, the Asia-Pacific and European markets still has the most "mobile marketing" savvy carriers -- by far. Perhaps 2009 will be the year when U.S. mobile phone service provider's are able to catch up with the global market leaders. We'll have to wait and see.
