Now in its fifth year, the iMedia Brand Summit Australia is a conference for senior marketers in Australia and New Zealand. It's part of the global series of iMedia events.
The Summit brings together marketers and digital media professionals for two days and two nights of learning and networking. The marketers in attendance at the 2011 summit represented over $470m of digital spend. The Summit is a collaborative environment created by the speakers, delegates and program of activities.

Professor Duane Varan is Chief Research Officer of the Disney Media & Advertising Lab where he and the team gathers data on media consumers and uses that hard science to figure out what works, and - perhaps more importantly - why it works. Professor Varan's work at the Disney Lab and, in conjunction with his research at his academic research centre, Audience Labs (Murdoch University) has conducted more than 30,000 test sessions. Prof Varan leads Beyond Thirty Seconds (Beyond:30), a $9 million research project exploring the changing media landscape, and is a previous recipient of the Australian Prime Minister's Award for University Teacher of the Year.

Bob Arnold is Associate Director, Global Digital Strategy, for Kellogg’s where he works to define and enable digital strategy for some of the world’s most iconic brands. Prior to Kellogg, he was a 10 year veteran at Procter & Gamble, leading digital marketing efforts across several global categories. This included Feminine Care where he led the awarding winning beinggirl.com digital platform into 50 countries and consistently delivered the category’s highest ROIs - several times higher than traditional media. Bob and his work have been featured in The Wall Street Journal, New York Times, as a case study by Forrester and in “Groundswell,” a BusinessWeek bestselling book.

Erik Johnson is the Head of Sales for Asia Pacific at Facebook, where he leads the regional sales team focused on providing marketing solutions to help the region's top businesses and agencies be successful on Facebook. Prior to Facebook, Erik spent twelve years at Microsoft, most recently as the General Manager of the Consumer and Online Business in Greater China, where he oversaw the end to end online business and all consumer facing marketing for the region.

Leo has worked at Coca-Cola South Pacific for 4 years and currently leads the Integrated Marketing Communications team; an internal consultancy accountable for providing leadership and building capability across all aspects of IMC (including Creative, Connections Planning, Media, iMarketing, Promotions and Sponsorship). He is responsible for setting the digital agenda for CCSP across both Australia and New Zealand and overall delivery of the iMarketing Strategic Business Plan. Leo has 15 years experience in Marketing Communications and prior to CCSP worked at a number of agencies in both the UK & Australian markets.
