Jack Myers to Host iMedia Video Summit
For more than 25-years, Myers Publishing founder and CEO Jack Myers has been a media industry thought leader and acknowledged visionary. Myers established his leadership reputation in the early 1980s at CBS Television, where as Director of Marketing and Business Development he successfully built the television industry's first multi-platform integrated marketing initiative and unsuccessfully advocated that CBS invest aggressively in the infant cable television industry. Subsequently, over a twenty-year consulting career, Jack served as strategic advisor to virtually every cable and broadcast network and major media company, several major regional and national marketers, many ad agencies, interactive media developers and a cross-section of television producers and studios.
Day 1 - Marcien Jenckes, SVP and GM, Video Services, Comcast
Marcien Jenckes serves as SVP & GM, video services for Comcast. In this role, he is responsible for all aspects of Comcast's video business, which serves Xfinity TV customers. Under his leadership, the best viewing experience and entertainment choices have become available anytime, anywhere on Xfinity Streampix; across Xfinity On Demand, XFINITY.com/TV and Xfinity TV on the Xbox 360; and through Xfinity TV and Player apps. Jenckes leads the team rolling out the X1 Platform, a cloud-enabled platform unlike any other service that will transform the TV into an entirely new integrated entertainment experience.
Day 2 - Seth Haberman, CEO, Visible World
Seth Haberman founded Visible World in 2000 with the goal of transforming advertising production and delivery to achieve greater relevance and effectiveness. With a track record of success marked by milestones including an Emmy Award and his work with today's largest companies and advertising executives, Haberman has far exceeded that goal. Under his vision and leadership, Visible World has emerged as a technology leader in the field of advanced video advertising, by enabling new levels of automation and efficiency in the identification of audiences and customization, trafficking and delivery of video ads.
