Bill Pearce to Host iMedia Brand Summit

Bill Pearce

William "Bill" Pearce is on the marketing faculty of the Haas School of Business at the University of California where he teaches MBA students on the topics of brand management, marketing and innovation. Pearce was previously CMO for Del Monte Foods, driving a three times increase in market capitalization by reinvigorating the topline with a marketing renaissance leading to Del Monte's acquisition by KKR in the largest LBO in 2011. His past accomplishments include working as Taco Bell's CMO, VP of marketing for Campbell's Soup and marketing director with Procter & Gamble, responsible for the snacks division of North America. Pearce is on the board of directors of Rich Relevance and Ooma and also on the advisory boards of Technorati Media, Virtual Fan Network and several other firms in the area of digital marketing.

David Shing

David Shing is AOL's digital prophet. Shing spends most of his time watching the future take shape across the vast online landscape. The rest he spends talking to people about where things are headed and how we can get the most out of it. Shing has spent most of his adult life in the digital world working for both large and small creative companies. He served as AOL's European head of media and marketing before taking on his current mantle. Engaging, witty, and refreshingly candid, Shing provides both historical perspective and current context as he lays out his vision of the brave, new world of marketing to come - one he believes will belong to those willing to embrace change and take risks now, and one that he dearly hopes will suck a great deal less. The opportunities are incredible. The rewards are real. And Shing's here to show you the way. That, after all, is what prophets do.

Kristen Comings

Kristen Comings serves as vice president of integrated marketing communications for L'Oréal Paris USA since December 2010. She oversees integrated marketing efforts for the brand's four beauty categories - cosmetics, skincare, hair color and hair care. She manages media investments, content strategy and execution, digital platforms and consumer engagements through events and promotions. Her career achievements include the launch of Women of Worth in 2005, a philanthropic initiative recognizing women giving back to their communities.

Pat Connolly, VP, Marketing Solutions, Conde Nast

Pat Connolly

As VP of marketing solutions for Condé Nast Media Group, Pat Connolly oversees the creative, account planning, and activation groups charged with conceptualizing and executing client marketing programs by leveraging the extensive resources of the Condé Nast brand portfolio. Before taking on this role, Connolly helped launch Condé Nast Ideactive, a brand content group that is now part of the broader Condé Nast marketing solutions portfolio. As a result of his experience in content and brand publishing, Connolly recently served as a 2013 Cannes Lions judge for the branded content and entertainment category.
