Pawan Sarda has a dream to be a part of organizations catering to basic needs of mankind: i.e. food, clothing and shelter. More than 13 years in retail gave him an opportunity to be a part of retail revolution in India and has influenced the first two. He started his career with Future group in 2000 and was a part of group’s journey of becoming a 15,000 Cr empire. He played a pivotal role in being part of the start-up team of Big Bazaar and went on to lead marketing function of most future group retail businesses across lifestyle and value segment starting with Pantaloons, Ezone, Hometown, Big Bazaar  and finally heading the Group marketing as CMO- Future Group.
He also played a key role in terms of understanding the youth fashion and repositioning FBB. Today FBB is a leading fashion retail in India.
After retail, his next stint was in housing at TATA Housing. He was heading Marketing and Product development function for India and International market. As part of TATA’s vision to provide homes for India at large, the first step towards that was to use the fastest growing digital platform and sell homes online, bringing about a revolution in real estate industry. This has helped to create wide reach across the globe and more than 100% growth in unit sales. He has created first of its kind selling of homes through Google, Facebook and Snapdeal.
In his current role at Future Group, he has similar mandate to bring in digital revolution for the group. Create a synergy between online-offline and add value to the business.
Pawan holds an MBA degree in Marketing from Institute of Finance and International Management, Bangalore.
