Optional Workshop: "Cool Stuff I'm Playing With"

This experimental new iMedia session is a grown up Show and Tell. In this PowerPoint one presenter, Mark Sila, shares the cool stuff he's playing with.

Even in today's dire economic times when VC has dried up and interesting companies ride off into the sunset, fascinating sites, widgets, applications, services and appliances are still out there. Cool stuff isn't necessarily advertising related, but by its very nature cool stuff changes the media landscape, changes consumption habits and opens up unexpected opportunities for brands, businesses and internet users.

Whether it's an edgy new website, a widget for your NetVibes page, a 2.0 mashup of Google Maps and [insert your obsession here], an addictive new online game, an internet appliance like the Chumby that brings RSS to your bedside, a digital pen like LiveScribe, a one-stop shop like VoxOx, or something entirely unpredictable like Microsoft's build-your-own-virtual world from your own pictures Photosynth product, we're here to talk about it and show it off.
