Understanding Acquisition Marketing

The needs of branded acquisition marketers are important for online publishers.

Last year, eight out of 10 of the internet's top advertisers fell under the "branded acquisition marketer" category. Online publishers who don't invest in understanding the needs of this category do so at their own peril.
Companies such as Vonage, Capital One and Amazon live or die by the sophistication of their ROI marketing efforts. This presentation is a very brief introduction to the core concepts and technology used by the vanguard of such marketers. Alex Hooshmand's Bio: Hooshmand heads the product management efforts at Right Media, an internet advertising technology solutions firm. Right Media's Yield Manager is the most sophisticated ad management and marketing platform for publishers and advertisers on the market today. Prior to Right Media, Hooshmand worked at companies such as DoubleClick and Bain & Company, where he applied some of the ideas behind loyalty marketing to drive results for Fortune 500 clients.
