UNICEF's marketing director advises not to overlook cause-based marketing initiatives-- they may just turbo-charge your branding efforts.
U.S. sponsorship spending on cause marketing will reach $1.08 billion in 2005, according to the IEG Sponsorship Report. A growing number of businesses and nonprofits have discovered that online technology can "turbo-charge" their cause-related marketing partnerships. One of the leaders of this movement is UNICEF, a Global Movement for Children mandated by the United Nations (UN) General Assembly. It is a non-profit organization committed to ensuring special protection for the most disadvantaged children-- victims of war, disasters, extreme poverty, all forms of violence and exploitation and those with disabilities.
Today, UNICEF's Susan Schroeter will demonstrate how cause-based marketing makes business sense and can benefit your brand. You'll hear winning examples of the simple, effective strategies that get the best results.
