Contextual & Behavioral Targeting

An interactive ad veteran explores the fast-growing and highly compelling behavioral targeting initiative.

You've heard that behavioral targeting is one of the fastest growing and most compelling advertising initiatives on the internet. You've read research reports that found it provides lifts on most types of brand attributes and also improves direct response metrics-- even for campaigns with branding goals. But now you want to see behavioral targeting in action.

Media Contacts' Amy Auerbach will discuss individual targeting and targeting to buckets based on likelihood to purchase and/or past behavior. She will also address the integration of email activity and reporting with website activity.

Amy Auerbach's Bio: With over eight years of interactive advertising experience, Auerbach is vice president, group account director in the New York City office of Media Contacts, the interactive and direct planning arm of MPG, Media Planning Group. She oversees the online media planning and buying for clients Vonage Holdings Corporation and ING DIRECT. Auerbach also participates on the management team of Media Contacts, helping guide the growth and direction of the overall agency. Currently, she serves on the board of directors of "212" and is an adjunct professor in internet marketing at Baruch College, CUNY, and Zicklin School of Business. Prior to Media Contacts, Auerbach worked at Nurun New York on accounts including L'Oreal Paris and Evian. She started her advertising career at Bates Interactive and then moved on to Euro RSCG Circle.
