Chris Cox is responsible for providing strategic thought leadership and directing all consumer-facing paid and owned digital marketing affairs at The Hershey Company, an iconic global chocolate manufacturer headquartered in Hershey, Pa. He acts as an internal consultant and subject matter expert, serving as a liaison to all brand groups and other departments in order to build capability and provide strategic guidance and training on the digital space. He also heads up a team of cross-disciplinary experts tasked with providing best-in-class digital practices in order to drive growth and loyalty to a full portfolio of chocolate, sweets, and refreshment brands. Cox acts as digital marketing liaison to all Hershey strategic global geographies, including Canada, Mexico, China, Brazil, India, Korea, and more, including global website development and digital media testing.
Prior to his post at The Hershey Company, Cox served as SVP, director of client services at G2 interactive, assisting clients including The Campbell Soup Company, Ventura Foods, SunGard, ING DIRECT, Caron Treatment Centers, and Merck. Cox also provided strategic marketing and branding services as group account director at Bailey Brand Consulting for clients including Just Born, Inc., Heinz Foods, New World Pasta, Robert Bosch Tool Corporation, Johnson & Johnson/Merck Consumer Pharmaceuticals, and McDonald's Corporation.
