Telecommunications specialist by degree, Dawn's professional career began at a small manufacturing company where she used ExactTarget's platform as well as their integration with Salesforce.com. When ready for a new challenge, Dawn searched for opportunities at ExactTarget, where we was hired as an Interactive Marketing Manager, rolling out ExactTarget's most successful engagement tool to date—a Twitter lounge at ExactTarget's 2009 User Conference, where attendees were encouraged to tweet about their experience. The 1,300 marketers in attendance combined to Tweet 10,000 hash-tag references to the show during the three-day conference.
Dawn's interest and expertise in social media led her to her current position at ExactTarget, Product Marketing Manager of Social Media. Dawn is responsible for the product line ownership of ExactTarget's Social portfolio of features and services, and will work closely with the newly-established Social Media Lab in San Francisco to evangelize social product offerings, dive deep into the market, and develop product and go-to-market proposals for ExactTarget's Social Products. An avid sports fan and seasoned traveler, Dawn resides in Indianapolis, IN.
