Bedecarré is chairman of AKQA, the leading and most-awarded digital agency. AKQA works with global brands including Audi, Budweiser, Chase, Delta, Google, Nike, Target, and Verizon to ensure they win in the digital age. AKQA has 11 global offices in the U.S., Europe, and Asia. Bedecarré is also president of WPP Ventures, a new Silicon Valley-based company that explores digital investment opportunities for WPP, the leading communications services group.
Bedecarré has been an innovator and pioneer in the advertising and communications business for more than three decades. In 2012, he was recognized as an Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of The Year for his leadership in the marketing services industry. Before his chairmanship of AKQA, he was founder and CEO of Citron Haligman Bedecarré, San Francisco's largest independent advertising agency.
Bedecarré holds a B.A. degree from Stanford University and an MBA degree from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
