I'd spent my career prior to Ross in education fundraising. I absolutely loved the work, but felt pigeonholed with a very niche skill set. Business school presented the opportunity to round myself out while taking a deeper dive into the social impact space. What sold me on Ross was hearing about the real-world projects students were involved with. The idea of being confined to a classroom here is completely foreign. Students are out working on sustainable fisheries in Patagonia or helping local nonprofits with their strategic plan. It feels a bit like a choose-your-own-adventure novel, where anything is possible. I'm already thinking about adding a dual-degree to stay another year!
