VICE PRESIDENT – NEW MEDIA MARKETING AND SALES STRATEGY DEVELOPMENT Norman is an energetic and accomplished New Media marketing leader with a proven record of successfully growing new media brands. With his focus on results, Norman has excelled at growing revenue for companies and clients alike. For over 15 years, Norman has consistently identified unique ways to leverage consumer insights to launch new products and drive sales for such brands as NASCAR, PGA Tour, Golf Channel, EarthLink and Subaru. As the VP, New Media and Licensing at Golf Channel New Media Ventures, Norman led the marketing strategy development for their five major new media brands, ecommerce, mobile and digital downloads. Under Norman’s direction, he grew the tee time reservation business from a regional brand into a $30M national brand and surpassed revenue projections by 43% in a down economy. At Turner Sports, Norman led the new media marketing as Director, Advertising and Marketing for – NASCAR.COM, PGA.Com and Among the major highlights from his Turner days were the successful launches of three major website redesigns and two subscription products that grew for 13-consecutive quarters; development of an in-house database and customer service operation and the live online simulcasts of such major sporting events as the PGA Championship, The Players, and multiple NASCAR races. Norman has a Bachelor’s Degree in Advertising with a minor in Business from the University of Florida and has successfully completed 50% of all course work toward a MS Degree in Organizational Dynamics from the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. In addition, Norman has had industry conference speaking engagements with the Direct Marking Association, Ad Tech and Marketing Sherpa.
