Jack offers unique insights in strategy, branding, social, and hyper-local marketing. After Founding Tap Mobile Consulting in 2009, he recently led the charge for social media breakthrough platform Blancspot, including featuring as App of the Week, vaulting Blancspot to #2 behind CNN in News Apps.
Jack has advised emerging media rising stars in Hyper-Local Marketing & QR Codes (JAGTAG), Mobile Advertising (MOVOXX), Personal Tech (Tecca.com), Music & Entertainment (The Club & NY Rock Exchange) and Travel (MondoWindow), and Group Texting (Huddle).
In 2005 Jack launched the industry’s first mobile television ad platform with MobiTV, helping major brands break into mobile including BMW, AXE, Jeep, Intel, A-B, Sony, HP, Visa USA, McDonald’s, Ford, Coke, L’Oreal, Navy, and Nikon.
Varied Industry expertise has been garnered from years working with brand owners and agencies, including Chiat/Day, AKQA, Sports Illustrated, Men’s Health and Young & Rubicam.
In 2007, Jack won MEDIAWEEK’s "Best Use of Mobile" for Lion's Gate Films. He was named 2008 “Mobile Ambassador” at the MEA “Best of Mobile Entertainment” Awards, and holds an 2009 Emmy Award for Innovation: Mobile TV Interactive Advertising. Acknowledged for contributions to mobile marketing, Jack was elected to the Mobile Marketing Association (MMA) Board of Directors, and twice Chaired MMA’s Television and Video Committee.
A prolific speaker, Jack has keynoted or sat on panels at many notable industry events, including AAAA’s, ANA and iMedia Summit, Chicago Advertising Association, Digital Hollywood, MediaVest Emerging Media Conference, AD:Tech , NAB, NATPE and CTIA.
Jack lives in Orinda, CA with his wife and three children.
