Kailei Richardson is the Director of Marketing for PointRoll. In this role, Ms. Richardson is responsible for planning and executing PointRoll’s marketing strategies as well as leading external marketing and communications. She also acts as the company’s Social Media Subject Matter Expert.
Ms. Richardson’s social media expertise started back in 2005 when she launched her first blog targeting bargain shoppers. It was through this site that she first became intrigued with the reach and sense of community that came with social media tools. She has since written for several blogs and online publications and transitioned those learnings from a hobby to her career by helping brands effectively use social media to connect with their audiences.
Prior to her current position, Ms. Richardson held marketing and strategy roles for PointRoll’s social media and retail divisions, as well as marketing and digital strategy roles for Belo Interactive Media (BIM). As the Mobile Product Manager at BIM she led and defined the mobile strategy for over 20 media properties around the country. Her experience also includes co-founding and leading marketing for Stone 109, a multi-media company focused on niche content for professional women of color, as well as consulting for Fortune 500 companies at Accenture where she spent five years in their Human Performance practice.
Ms. Richardson has an undergraduate degree from Emory University and received an MBA in marketing from Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management where she was also a McCormick Tribune Media Scholar.
